The new Ford Mustang comes with a significantly more prominent grille, and the functional heat extractors on the hood of the Mustang GT were placed and designed to help move hot air out of the engine compartment and cool the engine. The rear of the car has been updated with a high-gloss black panel that connects the taillamps.
Also new for both the Ford Mustang GT and V6 cars are standard high-intensity discharge (HID) headlamps and two individual light-emitting diode (LED) bars accentuating the front headlamps and 3 LED ropes forming the 3-baar rear lights.
